For over 15+ years, Kiylise Lowe, M.S has been an outstanding leader in the nonprofit and out of school time sector. Her work as a youth development practitioner has landed her opportunities to service youth and their families, K-12 and beyond. Creating and facilitating robust programs allowed her to pour her creative troubleshooting skills into innovative opportunities. Her admirable work with The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit as the Director of Educational Outreach forged her into leading several departments serving youth throughout the Metro Detroit area.
Kiylise’s passion for working and training with adults landed her into the design space where she helped to create the Social, Emotional, Learning Training of Facilitators and Preparing Leaders to Thrive Equity workshop with the David P. Weikart Center for Youth Program Quality. Her excitement for equity, belonging, and SEL skills for all have continually impacted the field.
Kiylise is the Founder and CEO of The DreamBuilding Consultancy, providing programmatic and operational support for nonprofits and small businesses. She has worked with organizations such as The Forum for Youth Investment, University of Michigan, Youth Development Resource Center, and many more. She holds a Masters of Science in Education Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University and continuing professional development from University of South Florida’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace training program.
